Working late and arranging a wedding (Kilala.nl (Cailin Coilleach)) by Cailin Coilleach

Well, this certainly has been an out-of-the-ordinary day for me! For starters I slept in 'till around eight, which is unheard of on a weekday. I got this opportunity because yesterday was a rather long day at the office and today I had the late shift (which means that I get off around six), followed by a change request that would last until 2000. So that was yummy! It also gave me the chance to make some official phone calls for Anime 2007.

The shift at the office went rather well, with our team having no open trouble tickets for most of the afternoon! Awesome! I even managed to spend an hour or so cleaning out the various book cases in the office, since they're mostly filled with decrepit crap. Piles and piles of printouts from the 1991-2003 era that served absolutely no purpose whatsoever.

I had to blow off the change request around 1930, since the customer hadn't supplied us with all the prerequisites. I'd installed the SAN connectivity software, but they hadn't taken care of the security zoning, so I couldn't actually get the server connected to the SAN just yet :)

The rest of the evening was spent with Peter and Elke, Marli's brother and his fiance, for dinner and for wedding arrangements. The both of us will serve as their maitres de ceremonie so we had to be on the up-and-up about their wishes.

A good day... That's what it was :)
