Tylor and I spent a large portion of the day at the Mitsuwa summer festival. They had lot’s of food and games. These Japanese festivals always have games that involve fishing things out of water with tissue paper. You have to be quick before the paper disolves to win. Tylor got a Bokenja green o men mask and won a goldfish (which already died) and a Kamen rider toy. Pictures are up.

There are private pictures in this set, so be sure to log in to see everything.

These pictures were actually from his second trip, I stuck the camera down at my knees and tried to keep it pointed at him while I clicked away. He certainly loves roller coasters.
Complete set here.
Posted in: default , disney , florida , tylor , vacationWe made it back home to freezing NJ last night. Florida was great fun and the tornadoes didn’t really impact us (thankfully). Tylor says his favorite part was the “Bear Concert“, but I think he liked the roller coasters too. I’ll be putting up pictures tonight.

Posted in: default , parenting , pictures , tylorThey finally got around to finishing our pool. Sue and Tylor get to hang out there while I’m busy working.
Posted in: pictures , tylorTylor gave me an overdose of cuteness this morning. I’m downstairs putting on my shoes, ready to walk out the door and go to work, when I hear Ty coming down the stairs. By the sounds, he’s obviously carrying something. When he rounds the corner, I see he is carrying his Diego playset, which folds up into a box with a little handle. When he got to the bottom step he sits down and says “Shoes” (we always sit on that set and put his shoes on when we’re leaving the house).
“Where do you think you’re going,” I ask?
“Work”
At which point I crack up and explain that he can’t come to work with daddy yet. He was very disappointed and tried once more. Very quietly, “shoes” he pleaded. Then he got distracted by a stuffed elephant.
