Midnight is Dana's last diaper change and meal for the night. The next one will be somewhere in the morning. Tonight was one of the few occasions where Marli didn't have to wake me and I appeared in the living room out of my own. This prompted a puzzled look from her.
Me:
Oh, but there's one very good reason for me to be up at this ungodly hour!
Her:
*pouty* Only one?
Me:
Honey, Dana's the only one I will interrupt my sleep for and to wake up. You're the only one I need to go back to sleep again.
They both mean the world to me :)

In a few days, Marli will get started on her nightly shifts for the NS. This means that she'll get off work around 0100 and that she'll take the train back home by then. She'd arrive around 01:45 by our estimates.
Since we don't want her riding her bike at that hour for multiple reasons and since taxis cost a bundle, it looks like I'll be playing
Midnight Taxi (tm) a few days a month.
I can already imagine myself driving around town in my robes! Now where did I put my
Creedence tape?

I'm doing the exact opposite of what every student in this city is doing. While they're out partying and drinking, I'm at home studying all night. However, nothing's to keep me from noshing away on the same grub they're having!

shoarma is the best shoarma! Even if it's the crappy, supermarket, pork variety. Shoarma is
Lord and Master of Saturday night!
